Beth Sunshine brings a genuine desire to impact the lives of others to her role as Partner and Vice President Talent Services for The Center for Sales Strategy. She combines her passion for making smart hiring decisions with her ability to coach people to use their strengths and achieve maximum performance. Working with executives, sales managers, and salespeople, Beth feels"the real magic happens when you understand what makes someone tick. Only then can you coach them to develop theirinnate talents, become more productive in their work, and feel more satisfied.” She also has the opportunity to manage and grow her team of six Talent Analysts.
Beth understands business, having run her own small business before joining CSS in 2004, and she combines her natural instincts to grow revenue with her ability to grow people in her work today. Quickly picking up on the unique needs of her clients, she starts by rolling up her sleeves and helping them to put the right people in the right positions based on their innate talents. Then she delights in helping managers to understand how each person on the team is wired and works with them to design powerful coaching plans to guide them to success.
Beth also enjoys building, improving, and facilitating client training programs which allows her to work in a hands-on way to help her clients Turn Talent into Performance. Most notably, she built the Talent Feedback Workshop which helps each individual on a sales team better understand their own unique talents and how they relate to the talents of others. This workshop has served to increase the performance of sales teams with its actionable strength management strategies, solutions to issues related to weaknesses, and management training to help coach each person according to their personalized strength management plan.
Beth is also very engaged in the community. She has donated her time and talent to the executive boards of many organizations, most of which benefit children. She is also a certified elementary school teacher in the state of Texas. What truly gives her a thrill, though, is spending time with her husband Matt, to whom she has been married since 1991, and their twin daughters, Allie and Emily. She is an avid reader, a movie addict, and loves cheering on her Mizzou Tigers, running, and traveling.
