Insisting on establishing Key Performance Indicators, Matt ensures that expectations and progress can be both realistic and measurable. Some of the programs that Matt has authored for The Center for Sales Strategy include the Digital Sales Accelerator, the Facilitator’s Certification Workshop as well as leading the Inbound Marketing Services division.

Prior to joining the company in 2006, Matt worked closely with The Center for Sales Strategy as the Group Director of Sales Development for Susquehanna Radio Corp. Matt joined The Center for Sales Strategy to share his expert guidance with other businesses and was appointed Executive Vice President at The Center for Sales Strategy in 2010. 

Matt developed and launched LeadG2, an Inbound Marketing Division that was built to help businesses establish thought leadership and lower lead costs. Partnering with HubSpot, the #1 inbound marketing software company in the world, LeadG2 has earned the premier recognition as a platinum Certified Partner.

Frequently serving as a keynote speaker and moderator, Matt has provided audiences with expertise related to lead generation, inbound marketing, digital marketing, sales process, growing sales organizations, and finding and developing sales superstars. He is a featured writer for one of the top sales blogs in American and a regular contributor to leading business blogs and magazines.

Matt is a St. Louis native, and a graduate of the University of Missouri at Columbia. If you are familiar with CSS, you may know Matt’s wife, Beth Sunshine, who serves as the VP Talent Services for The Center for Sales Strategy. She has been with the company since 2004 and married to Matt since 1991. They have twin girls Allie and Emily.
